Nervous but Fearless

Brook Lynn

5 1/2 year old Brook Lynn visited today for a lesson.  So was so nervous she wouldn’t even tell me her name.  But little by little we were able to practice and quickly she became fearless (making learning about braking a big priority!).  Once was riding on her own, she had to stop the bike, get off and scream “I did it.”  And that was the moment to ask for her name again.  “Brook Lynn,” she shouted.

I love the energy and excitement that comes with most 5 year olds.  I have to say, Brook Lynn had enough for both of us!

She’s already asking mom for a new, bigger one.  Congrats, Brook Lynn.
